POZNAŃ ID is questioning identity of a city within the realm of audiovisual actions. To describe it, we’re creating a place of cooperation for local and foreign artists.
This year the programme opens itself to international film communities by creating an initiative, whose target is to promote European short film co-productions— European Short Pitch. The idea is to allow intercultural dialogue based on the exchange of experiences and creating lasting relations between film industry representatives worldwide.
An integral part of contemporary audiovisual work is also new media. Looking to awaken reflection about the influence of technology on our lives, we created Futuro Open Air— a film programme open for public. Selected short films question the benefits of social media, virtual reality, drones and AIs.
Turning to local community, another part of the project are workshops and discussion panels with local and foreign artists.
